College Football Award predictions with our bold predictions for the season. Game of the year: Georgia vs Alabama SEC Championship game Heisman Winner Bryce Love Running Back (Stanford): The runner up for the award last year look for Love to be the favorite this year. He was on an ankle injury but still ran for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns. He decided to stay for a final year with an elite offensive line. He broke an FBS record with 13 rushes for 50 yards or more. David Shaw will depend on his small explosive running back a lot during the season. Love has a chance to shine in a non-conference game against Notre Dame on September 29th on national television be sure to tune in. The Top 4 Most Underrated College Football teams for the 2018-2019 season. 4). Florida: Last season it finally looked like the Gators were back all the way from hitting the cellar after Urban Meyer left years ago. They started last season at 3-1 being ranked 17th in the land then everything hit the deck. The team however this season stayed together even gotten better with their recruiting class and now are even more experienced after no one really leaving. They have ten returning players on offense and nine on defense. Florida will lose to Georgia for the SEC but expect them to stay relevant during the season. j 3). Boston College: For the first time in a long time the Golden Eagles finally have some upside on the football team. They have freshman running back AJ Dillon he ran for 1,589 yards last season, fourteen touchdowns, while averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Last season they finished the season at 7-2 with not much talk around them. The defense and offense have improved wi

The Top 4 Most Overrated College Football Teams for the 2018-2019 season.

The Top 4 Most Overrated College Football Teams this Season Our next few posts will be our Heisman, Playoff, National Champion, Coach of the Year predictions, most overrated/underrated teams for the upcoming College Football season. First the top four most overrated teams in College Football. 4. USC: They just lost their star quarterback to the NFL in Sam Darnold. With the top 15 ranking the voters are suggesting that USC’s freshman quarterback JT Daniels will play at top 15 level out of the gate which is high optimism. They would also need a defense that ranked 66th nationally last season in yards per play at a top 25 level that’s a dramatic improvement. USC on defense also had many other questions such as they were number 68 in total defense, giving up 395.6 yards a game. The defense was also the 60th ranked in scoring defense with 26.1 points allowed per game. They were 56th ranked in rushing defense with 158.6 yards a game and 82nd in passing yards allowed at 237.0 a game. T

College Football Week 1 Rankings

College Football is coming up here is our week 1 Top 5 teams in the land.  5 Ohio State: In their first week of the season the Buckeyes will be taking on Oregon State in a game they should walk away with. However the fifth place ranking for Ohio State is more of a safe bet because of off the field issues. All time great head coach Urban Meyer is suspended the first three games which no matter what has an affect on a team. Ohio State has a good chance at repeating as Big Ten champions but these first three weeks will be tough. The Buckeyes are still heavily talented with RB J.K. Dobbins and DL Nick Bosa as their leaders so not much to worry. Dwayne Haskins the new Ohio State quarterback after JT Barrett has left, and is something to watch in week one on how he commands the offense. Meyer has put together a great coaching staff and everything should be alright in Columbus. 4 Wisconsin: Wisconsin has an easy first week as they play Western Kentucky. Wisconsin for the first time i

Top 10 Contenders for the Heisman

College Football season is just around the corner. It’s now time for our Top 10 Players you should look for to have a spectacular season and make a Heisman Trophy run. 10. QB Justin Herbert (Oregon): Oregon without Herbert and with him are two different teams and last year showed this. Before breaking his collarbone the Ducks were 6-2. After he did they went 1-4 in his absence. He was on track for a star season with Oregon’s high pace and attacking offense, expect Herbert to finally break out. Even more and make a run for the Heisman especially if Oregon is doing well during the season. 9. QB Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama): Everyone and their mother that watches college football knows about what is going on in Alabama. Tagovailoa came in at the half in his freshman year at the National Championship game against Georgia, and willed the Crimson Tide to a comeback for the title. Jalen Hurts a star by himself may have to take a back seat to this kid. Let the quarterback controversy begin

Oakland A's Amazing Run

What a story the Oakland Athletics have become this baseball season. As we think they are getting to hot they are bound to slow down they only get hotter. Yesterday they beat the Astros 7-1 to tie them in the AL West even tying a single game record for the franchise with eight doubles in the win. The last three seasons the Athletics averaged 91 losses a season they are certainly on track for far better things this year. From Opening Day to June 15th the Athletics were 34-36, 11.5 games back in the AL West, and had -9 run differential. Now as we sit in late August they are tied in the AL West, having a 40-13 record since June 16th (that’s the best record in baseball since then both Boston and Oakland have that record), and with a 62+ run differential. They have been defying the odds in all types of ways. Even the other night Tony Sipp great bullpen piece for the Astros didn’t give up a home run all season, gave one up to Matt Olson that just so happen to be a walk off to give the Athle

Top 10 young Quarterbacks to start a franchise with today.

Top 10 young Quarterbacks to start a franchise with today. 10. Baker Mayfield: Yes seems to early to put any of these young quarterbacks on the list but it’s never too early to make predictions. Mayfield looks to have a lot of upside. He also seems to be a better version skillswise and behavior wise than Johnny Manziel. Behavior issues keeps you off the list such as Jameis Winston. Yes he’s only played one preseason game which people get way to caught into the hype but here’s what we know. If you need someone to overcome the odds Mayfield was the guy going from walk on to Heisman trophy winner. Mayfield can run, has a strong arm, and the personality to be a superstar or even a stable quarterback for the Browns future if all goes well which is tough for Cleveland. However with Tyrod Taylor Mayfield has the advantage of not being rushed into the field which we believe will help him most. 9. Blake Bortles: Yes, Bortles he’s not so trash as people may think. He is going into his fi

Melo going to the Rockets could work out.

If Carmelo Anthony really has agreed to come off the bench for the Rockets the move can really be a season changer. Melo coming off the bench for the Rockets can help them be much deeper than the Warriors but also help them in the starting lineup on defense. As it’s no secret Melo hates playing defense. James Ennis will more than likely to start due to his defense to try fill a similar role to Trevor Ariza who packed his bags to Phoenix this offseason. They brought the Warriors to a game 7 last year and still almost won without Chris Paul. Missing 27 threes in a row is rare but with the addition of Melo they do have someone that will pull up from the mid range and knows the system. A healthy Chris Paul, a MVP in James Harden, solid defense from Ennis who knows how defense is played he’s from the Grizzlies and that’s what they do, PJ Tucker and Ryan Anderson at the four. Depending on if they want defense or scoring will decide which one of those players play. Clint Capela who is pro

Top 10 NBA Teams Right Now

Top 10 NBA Teams Right Now 10. Spurs- They lost Kawhi Leonard but did add Demar DeRozan who was in the NBA MVP discussion last year until James, Harden, and Davis started to take over for their teams. They were a 7th seed with Leonard only playing 7 games but now they have DeRozan who be a help to LaMarcus Aldridge who still is an all star big man. They lost Kyle Anderson, long time Spur legend Tony Parker, and Danny Green but have added Dante Cunningham, Marco Belinelli, and their draft pick Lonnie Walker IV who especially in Pop’s system can be the steal of the draft. The Spurs are still relevant and will improve on from last year. 9. Nuggets- The Nuggets lost Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried but they added Michael Porter Jr who if he can stay healthy has a lot of upside, Monte Morris, and former all star Isaiah Thomas who we know if he can get healthy can be a big problem for defense. In addition to their top 5 young center in Jokic, young bright future back court in Murray

Top 5 UFC Upsets of All Time

Top 5 UFC Upsets of All Time After the past weekend and watching UFC 227 that has inspired us to make the top 5 biggest UFC upsets ever. Here is number 5.... 5. Chris Weidman vs Anderson Silva, July 2013, UFC 162: Going into this fight some saw the fight as the matchup that could end Silva’s run as Middleweight Champion. Since Weidman could wrestle which Chael Sonnen showed in his fights with Silva was his weakness, and Weidman brought some striking to the game but not comparable to Silva’s, an upset was seen as a maybe but very unlikely. Silva just defended his belt 10 times in a row which was a UFC record for the time. While also riding a 16 fight winning streaks. Silva had the belt for 2,547 days which is the largest amount of days a title reign has gone on for in UFC history. He looked unstoppable. Weidman was unbeaten going into the fight. At 9-0 he just came off a win over Demian Maia, and a vicious elbow KO finish over Mark Munoz. Silva didn’t want to hear anything about l
