  Goat Talk MLB Bets 5/26/2021  4-2 yesterday on MLB picks (Should of picked Phillies like I originally wrote down) Mets vs Rockies  Mets ML -138 Under 6.5 The Mets will be taking on the Rockies in the third game of a four game set. The Rockies took game one but then behind Jacob Degrom the Mets took game two. Not a lot of offense in either one of those games. The Mets will send Marcus Stroman to the mound tonight. Stroman is 3-4 with a 2.73 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 7.4 K/9, and 1.9 BB/9 in 52 2/3 IP over 10 starts. Which means to me the Rockies are going to fight for runs again. Then the Rockies are throwing German Marquez who is 3-4 with a 4.82 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, 9.6 K/9, and 5.2 BB/9 in 52 1/3 IP over 10 starts. Which to most teams would not book me for the over however the Mets IL is an All Star team. Their lineup is a AAA team quite literally.   Goat Talk NBA Bets 5/26/2021  4-2 yesterday on MLB picks (Should have picked Phillies like I originally wrote down) However we are here to talk about the NBA today.  76ers vs Wizards  76ers -8.5 Spread  Simmons 10+ Assists/ win +255 Tobias Harris 25+ points/win +255  Yes we all know that the 76ers are more than likely going to win the series that’s clear. Especially after game one. The 76ers star Ben Simmons had less than ten, MVP candidate Joel Embiid was in foul trouble keeping him off the floor, the Wizards shot 56% from the field, and still lost by seven. Everything went right and Washington still lost. That’s why we should expect the 76ers to cover the spread. Of course at some point Embiid put the struggles behind him which led to him scoring 30 points, shooting 9 for 16 from the field. What really is taking people off guard is that Harris shot 15-of-29 from the field for 37 points. Harris has been solid all season for the 76ers. Take the bet he will score more than 25 in the w

  Goat Talk MLB Bets 05/25/2021  Phillies vs Marlins  Marlins -130 ML The streaky Marlins are winners of five of their last six, and now are only a game out of first in the NL East. Being a game behind the hurt Mets, and tied with the can’t figure it out Braves. However the Marlins can benefit from the misfortune of their fellow NL East rival. Those teams certainly have for the better half of 6 to 8 years now. The Marlins took a 9-6 contest last night against the Phillies but tonight we think these Marlins luck is going to continue. The Phillies will send Vince Velasquez to mound who was scratched from his last start due to right index finger numbness. He will take the ball today against a red hot Marlins lineup. Velasquez has had an above par season being 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched. He’s only allowed a combined two runs in his last three starts.   Goat Talk MLB Bets 5/20/2021  Phillies vs Marlins  Under 8  Let's start with some NL East action. Maybe the most unpredictable division in all of the world but scared money doesn't make money. Here we are betting on the NL East. We are kind of scared so we’ll just stick with the under 8 runs. The second place Phillies will send Vince Velasquez to get the ball in his sixth start of the season. Velasquez has had an average year for the Phillies being 1-0 with a 3.68 ERA in 29 1/3 innings pitched, with 37 strikeouts, averaging 11 strikeouts through nine. He’s the reason why honestly we are betting under, both offenses are bad. However in a matchup such as this you have to still trust the starter to bet the under. Velasquez last time out last Friday held the Bluejays to one earned run while allowing three hits in 5 2/3 pitched. He can do more against the Marlins. The Miami offense isn’t good.   Where The UFC Lightweight Division Stands Today  We had a great card last Saturday when the UFC delivered UFC 262 to the world on pay per view. In the main event we saw the UFC Lightweight Championship on the line for the first time since former unbeaten champion Khabib Nurmagomedov retired early after his father’s death. Nurmagomedov was a dominant champion that finished with a record of 29-0. He left dominant in his last performance with a second round submission of Justin Gaethje. However as we learned with all legends the sport moves on. The sport did that last Saturday when Charles Oliveira who was riding a eight fight winning streak and holds claim to the most submission finishes in UFC history took on former Bellator Lightweight champion Michael Chandler.
