Tampa Bay Rays Recap of 2017: The Tampa Bay Rays had an average season just by the numbers; but a very good season for what fans were expecting. In 2016 they finished last in their division; and had one of the worst records in baseball. They went 68-94 which was worse than what people thought. Nonetheless the Rays made huge strides this 2017 season. One of those strides was the starting pitching staff in Tampa. Their ace Chris Archer who was coming off an awful year in 2016; where he went 9-19 with a 4.02 ERA. He looked to improve that this season. New York Yankees Recap of 2017: The 2017 season was an interesting but a good one for these young bronx bombers. Going into the year Yankees manager Joe Girardi was on the hot seat. Especially with that dismantled pitching staff; and young bats the Yankees took this year as a stepping stone in the right direction. This quickly changed as the Yankees started to pile up wins. Leading their divisions for points of the season; but really extending their lead in the Wild Card. The Yankees ended the season at 91-71. They made the playoffs as the first wildcard team a

Boston Red Sox 2016-2017 Recap: The Red Sox are coming off a very good but disappointing season. With adding Chris Sale and Doug Fister in the offseason; the Red Sox thought they had the pitching rotation with Chris Sale, David Price, Rick Porcello, and Doug Fister leading the way the Red Sox thought they were going to have a championship season. With David Price and Doug Fister getting injured; they were constantly trying to find pitchers to fill their role. They however did overcome these odds, to win the AL East with a 93-69 record in a competitive division with their rival New York Yankees. They were eliminated by the world champion Houston Astros in the ALDS in 4 games to end what Red Sox fans thought could've been the year once again. After the season they fired manager John Farrell, and went in a new direction with signing former 2nd baseman for the team and bench coach of the Houston Astros, Alex Cora. The Red Sox hit well, they were an above average hitting MLB te
