Melo going to the Rockets could work out.

If Carmelo Anthony really has agreed to come off the bench for the Rockets the move can really be a season changer. Melo coming off the bench for the Rockets can help them be much deeper than the Warriors but also help them in the starting lineup on defense. As it’s no secret Melo hates playing defense. James Ennis will more than likely to start due to his defense to try fill a similar role to Trevor Ariza who packed his bags to Phoenix this offseason. They brought the Warriors to a game 7 last year and still almost won without Chris Paul. Missing 27 threes in a row is rare but with the addition of Melo they do have someone that will pull up from the mid range and knows the system. A healthy Chris Paul, a MVP in James Harden, solid defense from Ennis who knows how defense is played he’s from the Grizzlies and that’s what they do, PJ Tucker and Ryan Anderson at the four. Depending on if they want defense or scoring will decide which one of those players play. Clint Capela who is probably the biggest piece to that defense as they try to force plays into his bubble at the rim. With Gerald Green, Melo, either Tucker or Anderson, a star shooter in Eric Gordon all coming off the bench the Rockets didn’t get much worse than people may have thought.

We finally won't have a Sunday without football until February. Yes we will have preseason games starting next Sunday. So that means one thing: it's time for predictions. These are not my final picks however. These are my picks before the preseason starts. My final picks will come out in the week before the Cowboys and defending Super Bowl Champions Buccaneers go head to head to start the season on September 9th. Not that my picks will change drastically or anything more like a safety net. Every year one major player is usually hurt for a significant amount of time or traded somewhere else before the season. World Series Preview

World Series Preview Well we have finally made it baseball fans. The day we have all been waiting for; we have gone through regular and postseason. 14 teams have been eliminated from both the AL, and 14 from the NL. That leaves us with just 2 teams left in the fall classic. The Astros and Dodgers will go at it in Game 1 of the World Series tonight in Los Angeles at 8:09 EST. This 7 game series is high anticipated as both teams had different paths to the promise land. The NL representatives Los Angeles Dodgers have been nothing but dominate this postseason; only losing 1 game this postseason. Also a dominant regular season posting a 104-58 record, best in the MLB. After constant speculation over the past few years on how the Dodgers couldn’t get it done; with such great teams.
