The Blue Jays are tossing Hyun-Jin Ryu for today’s game. He is 1-2 with a 2.60 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 8.5 K/9 and 2.0 BB/9 over 27 2/3 IP through 5 starts. This is his first since April 25th when he left the game with an injury of 3.2 innings pitched. Expect him to keep the Athletics down. However the Athletics pitching will return the favor. Not because A’s starter Mike Fier is so great. However he returned from hip injury in late April against the Orioles. He pitched three earned runs, six hits and two walks with three strikeouts across six innings. I expect him to pitch well so bet the under. Expect the Athletics to take this one. 


DBacks vs Marlins 

Take Dbacks ML +125 


The Dbacks have been getting beat this series pretty good. Losing the first two games by an average of 7 runs. Arizona won’t get swept with Madison Bumgarner going on the mound for them against a weak Marlins lineup. Bumgarner over his last three starts is 3-0 with a crazy 1.06 ERA. Pablo Lopez will go to the mound for the Marlins. Lopez is 0-2 but he has an impressive 2.34 ERA. The offense doesn’t get it when he’s on the mound. Don’t see Lopez out picking. 7.5 is a bad like for runs especially with how these offenses are unpredictable. 


Rays vs Angels 

Take Rays +112 ML 

Over 8 


Angels are coming off a loss after Ohanti threw a gem and threw only 5 innings however. Angels are trying to avoid being swept. Angels will have to ride Andrew Heaney who’s had a rough year going 1-2, with a 5.25 ERA, and 1.12 WHIP. Here’s why you should take the over because the Rays starter Colin McHugh has had a worse year than Heaney. McHugh has posted 0-1, with a 10.12 ERA, and 2.44 WHIP. So definitely take the over. Mike Trout is 6-for-13 and Jose Iglesias a s 4 for 5 with two home runs against McHugh. I’m not confident in the Rays but it’s hard to bet for Angels how they’ve been playing and Rays are going for the sweep.

Were You Entertained? By Maybe The Greatest Game Ever How mad are the fans in Mexico City that LA got their game due to poor field conditions? What hell of game the 9-1 Chiefs and 9-1 Rams put on for us last night. The game lived up to all expectations, and more. MVP candidate Todd Gurley was hurt early in the game as he left the game around the 8 minute mark in the 4th, and didn’t get another snap until 7 minutes of game time after that. He had only 12 touches for 55 yards. Luckily his counterpart Kareem Hunt didn’t have a great game either, as he ran for 70 yards in 14 touches. Remember not great game to these Pro Bowlers standers. A task for the Rams to win was to win the turnover battle which they did, but came from a big help from young starting quarterback Jared Goff. Goff through no interceptions had 413 yards throwing, a 117 QB rating, a running touchdown, and 4 touchdown passes.
