National Championship Prediction 3 Ohio State vs 1 Alabama


    After a covid season, almost not having a season at all, to 3 out of the 4 big conferences having a season, to Big Ten starting mid October, some game cancellations, and even covid scares coming into this one but we are now finally here the day of National Championship between 1 Alabama Crimson Tide vs 3 Ohio State Buckeye. Ohio State with only 6 regular season wins proved to Dabo Swinmey’s Clemson Tigers that they are much better than a 11th ranking. After 49-28 beat down at the Sugar Bowl.  They proved even with six wins they are legit Big Ten Champions even in an shortened season. Alabama continues to roll through their competition like they have for years under Nick Saban. They beat up on Notre Dame once again to punch a ticket to the big dance. Alabama has a super talented wide receiver and first Heisman trophy winner at wide receiver since Desmond Howard with Devonta Smith. He will be the toughest matchup for Ohio State’s to guard. Especially since Saban will move him around the field to get the one on one matchup that Smith will win. It also helps that the man throwing him the ball Mac Jones isn’t to bad himself. Jones threw for 4,036 yards and 36 touchdowns both second in the NCAA. Jones may be without star receiver Jaylen Waddle which would be a huge loss on offense but don’t think Alabama lacks firepower ever. They still have running back Najee Harris who ran for 125 yards on 15 carries against Notre Dame. Alabama producing another elite running back? I know shocker. Ohio State is a power five school so that means it doesn’t lack talent. The Buckeyes quarterback Justin Field is definitely going to be the second quarterback taken in the 2021 NFL Draft. People are worried because how injured he looked against Clemson but head coach Ryan Day told the media “Justin's had a good week of practice,” which makes me think he’s not that hurt. Ohio State doesn’t lack a running game either with Trey Sermon. Who ran for 193 rushing yards against Clemson top ranked division. With these two schools fire power on offense is not the problem. They both also have studs on defense. Ohio State may be the first National Champion winner with only six wins in 2020. Who knows what people will say if they win but if you beat Alabama and Clemson on your way to a title there’s no way anyone can deny you. Alabama on the other hand played a season, won its conference title, and is in the national championship like we expected. They only have things to gain. It set to be a crazy night of action with these two high profile schools. My prediction is it will be a shootout with Justin Fields getting the final say in a 42-38 win for Ohio State.

Were You Entertained? By Maybe The Greatest Game Ever How mad are the fans in Mexico City that LA got their game due to poor field conditions? What hell of game the 9-1 Chiefs and 9-1 Rams put on for us last night. The game lived up to all expectations, and more. MVP candidate Todd Gurley was hurt early in the game as he left the game around the 8 minute mark in the 4th, and didn’t get another snap until 7 minutes of game time after that. He had only 12 touches for 55 yards. Luckily his counterpart Kareem Hunt didn’t have a great game either, as he ran for 70 yards in 14 touches. Remember not great game to these Pro Bowlers standers. A task for the Rams to win was to win the turnover battle which they did, but came from a big help from young starting quarterback Jared Goff. Goff through no interceptions had 413 yards throwing, a 117 QB rating, a running touchdown, and 4 touchdown passes.
