Goat Talk’s College Football Week 6 Rankings
Goat Talk’s Week 6 College Football Rankings.
5. Clemson
4. LSU
3. Ohio State
2. Georgia
1. Alabama
Some shakeup in the playoff race for us. Nothing has changed who the top 5 teams are from last week, just so who would be just our top 4 teams to be in the Playoff. Alabama remains number one in the country, as they dominated Louisiana Lafayette 56-14. Georgia also stays at two with a 38-12 win over Tennessee. Alabama and Georgia the two National finalist last year don’t look like any team can challenge them for those spots thus far. Ohio State shows what makes them an elite program. As they pull out a win on the road against a top 10 team in the country in Penn State. A game that could of knocked them out of the playoffs turns into a game that shows the heart of Ohio State in a big in conference win. Now LSU over takes Clemson at 4, the final playoff spot. LSU dominated Ole Miss 45-16, and continue to surprise and impress people in college football. Clemson almost loses again to Syracuse. As new starter freshman Trevor Lawrence gets injured early. Bryant doesn’t play for Clemson as he will not report so basically third string quarterback Chase Brice took over. He only threw 13 times, threw one pick with 8/13 passing. It was running back Travis Etienne and the Clemson defense that lead them to a win. Clemson wins against unranked teams but still have questions around their team. With the top 4 teams being so impressive we must put them outside the Playoff at the moment.
