Goat Talk’s NBA MVP Race

Goat Talk’s NBA MVP Race   The MVP race is very interesting in the 2018-2019 season thus far. As teams are playing way better than expected. Like the Nuggets who are the first seed in the West, the Clippers who are a top team in West so far, the Bucks who’ve been one of the prestige’s teams in the East this season, and the West just being so close everyone is in it expect the Suns. Or the fact how some teams have struggled so far for example the Celtics and Rockets. How your team plays is big in the MVP race sense it’s about how valuable you are, and putting your team over the hump for wins is what makes someone valuable. Here’s our top 5 MVP candidates thus far. 5.Nikola Jokic- Jokic has brought the Nuggets to the mountain top of the West in the first seed up to this point in the season. Even with injuries to Paul Millsap (broken toe), Gary Harris (hip) & Will Barton (core muscle surgery), and Isaiah Thomas (hip) he continues to elevate the Nuggets to win. His 18.1 ppg, 10...

The NY Giants 5 Options at QB Next Year

Image
The NY Giants 5 Options at QB Next Year 5.Eli Manning- Many may not like it but the Manning option seems what management will want next year. Manning has gotten the Giants two Super Bowls but many outside the organization think it’s time to move on. As the Giants offense is 20th in total offense. People believe Manning is holding stars like Odell Beckham, Saquon Barkley, and Evan Engram back. After another losing season but throwing for 3,689 yards, 18 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, and a QB rating of 92.1 with the 13th ranked passing offense, Giants management thinks he should get one more year of improving that offensive line.                 4.Draft- If it becomes April time it may be time to go young to grow with the Giant’s young star talent. The risk is getting in the spot of the draft to get the QB your franchise wants. Number 1 option would be Oregon’s Justin Herbert who has great ball placement, a great arm, and ath...

Chargers @ Chiefs: The Battle for the West. What Are They Playing For Tonight? Whoever in the beginning of the year put the Chargers against the Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in Week 15 we’d like to thank you. Tonight’s game is must watch TV if you are a sports fan. Not just division rivals but two top 5 teams will be squaring off tonight on primetime football. The game is can be considered for the AFC West crown, and more than likely home field advantage throughout the playoffs. It will be a playoff crowd in Kansas City tonight. Little Preview of The Game Itself: The Chiefs against the LA Chargers is one of the best Thursday Night Football games we have ever gotten. The Chiefs are the home team so they will have the advantage especially in Arrowhead which determined to be one of the loudest places to play. Kansas City’s offense is next to none in the league thus far. They are number one in total offense for yards per game, third in total passing behind MVP front runner a...
