10.Warriors win 3rd title in 4 years- Steph Curry and Kevin Durant lead the Warriors to their 3rd title in 4 years. Kevin Durant takes home the Finals MVP in the clean sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Warriors also win 2018 Sportsperson of the Year.

9.Red Sox wins World Series- They once couldn’t win a World Series for over 80 years well have times changed. The Red Sox take the 2018 World Series to win their 4th since 2004. 2018’s Red Sox were maybe the best team they’ve had as they won the most games in franchise history with 108.

8.Amanda Nunes/ Daniel Cormier get Double Champ Crown- UFC’s Daniel Cormier and Amanda Nunes both jump up weight classes to take down the respective champion above them. Cormier bumps up to heavyweight in July to knockout maybe the best heavyweight UFC champion ever in Stipe Moicic in the first round. Taking the title “Baddest Man on the Planet” (not named Jon Jones 😉). Amanda Nunes jumps up to 145 to defeat Cris Cyborg to over take women’s Goat status.

7.Capitals wins 2018 Stanley Cup- The Washington Capitals win their first ever Stanley Cup over expansion team Las Vegas Knights. Giving Alex Ovechkin his long deserved cup.

6.Justify wins Triple Crown- Justify takes home the Triple Crown being the 13th ever to do it. Then early retiring in July.

5.Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov- At UFC 229 in the most anticipated UFC fights ever undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov defends his Lightweight championship against Conor McGregor. Nurmagomedov taps McGregor out in the 4th round silencing the chatter. After the fight a brawl broke out where Nurmagomedov jumped over the cage going after McGregor’s corner. Both fighters were suspended.  

4.France wins World Cup- Russia hosted the 2018 World Cup but its France who stole the show. With a star built team France runs through the tournament to the final. Then beating Croatia 4-2 to win the crown. With the emerges of 19 year old star Kylian Mbappe.  

3.Tiger Woods gets back in the win column- Tiger Woods shot a one-over 71 to finish at 11 under for his 80th PGA Tour victory. Winning his first PGA tour title since 2013. In one of the best moments in Golf’s long history.

2.Eagles win Super Bowl with Philly Special- Nick Foles takes over at quarterback mid season after starter Carson Wentz goes down with an ACL year. Leads the Eagles to their first ever Super Bowl over the Goat Tom Brady and the Patriots. With help from the famous Philly special.

1.Arike Ogunbowale buzzer beater- Notre Dame Arike Ogunbowale in the first Final Four game for the Irish hits the game winning buzzer beater shot against UCONN. UCONN the team that beats teams 100-15. Then in the National Championship hits another buzzer beater against Mississippi State to bring home the National Championship for Notre Dame.

  Goat Talk’s AFC 2021 Predictions     Finally we the public have made the journey to the time of year we all really have been waiting for. We finally won't have a Sunday without football until February. Yes we will have preseason games starting next Sunday. So that means one thing: it's time for predictions. These are not my final picks however. These are my picks before the preseason starts. My final picks will come out in the week before the Cowboys and defending Super Bowl Champions Buccaneers go head to head to start the season on September 9th. Not that my picks will change drastically or anything more like a safety net. Every year one major player is usually hurt for a significant amount of time or traded somewhere else before the season. We are factoring that in this time around. However the picks will mostly stay the same barring anything drastic happening. We will start first in the AFC today and get to NFC on Friday. World Series Preview

World Series Preview Well we have finally made it baseball fans. The day we have all been waiting for; we have gone through regular and postseason. 14 teams have been eliminated from both the AL, and 14 from the NL. That leaves us with just 2 teams left in the fall classic. The Astros and Dodgers will go at it in Game 1 of the World Series tonight in Los Angeles at 8:09 EST. This 7 game series is high anticipated as both teams had different paths to the promise land. The NL representatives Los Angeles Dodgers have been nothing but dominate this postseason; only losing 1 game this postseason. Also a dominant regular season posting a 104-58 record, best in the MLB. After constant speculation over the past few years on how the Dodgers couldn’t get it done; with such great teams.
