Before All Star Break is Over Awards The All Star break is over and now is time to start the best part of the NBA season. Things are about to start getting even more intense as the playoff atmosphere filters in. Let’s run through the award winners thus far if the season ended today. MVP- Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder): In the MVP race no matter what player you choose especially this year you will receive backlash. Paul George is our MVP with James Harden right behind him. The Thunder are four games better than the Rockets and are the third seed in the West. Paul George does have another superstar in Russell Westbrook but wouldn’t it be harder to play like George is with a ball hog like Westbrook? To this day the Spurs have not missed the playoffs but aren’t serious contenders but that run has transformed the franchise into an all time NBA franchise.      9. Showtime Lakers (1980's): The Era that saved the NBA was all on Showtime. The 80s are usually looked at the ERA that the Celtics and Lakers fought for NBA dominance which is true but most don’t include that it was mostly dominated by the Lakers. The Lakers big three o...

The NFC Champions young and up incoming LA Rams led by 33 year old head Sean Mcvay. Will be matching up against the sheriffs of the Super Bowl as they are making their 9th Super Bowl appearance in their dynasty Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick will lead the New England Patriots into Atlanta on Sunday for a shot at their 6th Super Bowl title. Which would tie the Steelers for the most of all time. Let’s take a look at the battle down south in Atlanta. The Patriots are trying to ride an underdog mentality going into the big game. Which is hard when you finished 13-3 last year with a loss in the Super Bowl, and this is your ninth appearance in fifteen years, but hey whatever works. Many thought Tom Brady was finally hitting ...
